Why kids under-perform in math?

MMost time we find kids or children having trouble in math, but few of them find it more difficult. Hence, they find math as a trouble for them. No doubt math need practice, and through practice one can cope up with difficulties. If the students fail to put the correct sign, then his entire answer for a particular question may be wrong. If a student is not focused and attentive during class, the chances of getting confused in sign and symbols are very high.

5. Comparison

Another important aspect that leads kids to under-perform in math is the comparison. It happens at home and in classrooms as well. Teacher compare one student with others and this, in turn, lead kids or children to lose their self-confidence, they start hiding themselves from a teacher just not to give answers to his/her question. They start to develop a sense in their minds that they are not good, and cannot compete with others in this subject.
