The first TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) conferences appeared in 1990. The presentations are limited to eighteen minutes and although the initial idea was to spread technology and design, with the increase of popularity the topics covered became wider, covering almost all aspects of science and culture. Speakers at the conferences include Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Gordon Brown, Bill Gates, Google's founders and several Nobel Prize winners.
Here you can see some of the videos available at these conferences where the subject is obviously math, or in more general cases education.
Total videos of TED conferences: 24
The organizers, who are part of a private non-profit foundation, seek in the words of the organization itself, "to disseminate ideas that deserve to be disseminated." If you are aware of other videos of TED conferences that you think are worthy of being disclosed, please let us know through the Contact page. Thank you.
